Pine Gardens Cake.

Ok ok don't judge me just yet. It's food again, but this is wedding related. ;p
Pine Gardens is a heartland confectionery, that made a mark in the wedding industry. Their Lychee Martini cake is legendary and I have had that in quite a few weddings.

Their cake designs are as good the taste, thankfully. They also have "xi bing" and traditional wedding baskets for rent. You can check them out at http://www.pgcake.com

On a side note, I also tried the famed ondeh ondeh, which is rated as top 8 in Singapore. I felt that it is commendable but not to die for. That unnamed bread roll on the right that looked like a giant sushi on the other hand, was a new found gem. It's soft, propotionately layered with pork floss, slice of ham, tuna, and seaweed. I don't even know what it's called, I should just name it HEAVENLY.

so what if the ondeh ondeh weren't as nice, the search led you there, and introduced many more cakies!

and please lor, how can talking about food, be "OVEREATING"...you are so not overeating..that only happens, when you have a limit...

p.s, their brandied cherry cake is quite the yums! and the cheng san market nearby sells cheap and good pork porridge..
